Provides emergency foster care for the companion animals of individuals unable to care for them temporarily due to issues such as homelessness, placement in a rehabilitation facility, hospitalization, or domestic violence. Disabled and incarcerated individuals help provide the rescue services.

Big Creek Pet Hospital
Offers monthly meetings to help owners deal with the loss of a pet. The Pet Loss Support Group meets the second Monday of each month from 7 to 8 PM. Facilitated by a trained grief counselor and an area clergyman. Adults only.
